The Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) along with Avvanz organised a SME Briefing on HR Technology and Government Support Programmes on 19 Sep 2018.
Acquiring talents efficiently remains to be one of the most pressing challenges of HR and Talent Acquisition practitioners. However, with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the corporate scene, it seems that the solution to our recruitment woes is close at hand. Avvanz, an award-winning technology-based talent screening and talent development company, discussed how to appropriately leverage AI to increase process efficiencies and to achieve one of the most important recruitment KPIs – acquiring the RIGHT and SAFE talents - Intelligent Recruiting. Kristine Policarpio, Senior Consultant of Avvanz, also an experienced Recruiter of more than 10 years, spoke on Avvanz's Platform TABS that will revolutionize recruitment and background screening.
Lastly, SNEF introduced two programmes under the Adapt and Grow Initiative on recruitment, training and retention of PMETs. The P-Max Place-and-Train Programme aims to facilitate the entry of PMETs into suitable SME jobs. Upon completion, companies will receive $5000 upon success completion of the programme. Another programme named the enhanced Career Support Programme, encourages employers to tap on the wealth of experience that mature PMETs can bring to the workplace.
